Meet Sophie Michener, very happy in her new forever home.

Mossimo, now MoJo, was the leader of the band in the GAL kennel... successfully getting 40+ dogs to sing along with him... while deafening the GAL kennel volunteers during their concert! So a GAL foster family took him in... and then fell in love with the playful boy who now lives forever in their hearts since 2004.

Honey's story with GAL started out very bleak. For many days and nights, GAL's veterinarian and staff rotated shifts to stay by her side, convinced they would not let her die after a brutal attack in the racing kennel. And, their persistence paid off. Honey has grown up to be one of the happiest, healthiest greyhounds to have passed through GAL. And, "Doc" was so impressed by her survival spirit that he and Kitty had to adopt her themselves. Yes, they have had to put baby locks on their cabinets to keep her mischievous personality out of trouble, but they wouldn't have it any other way.
